This smile hides a thousand tears
Because I can't let you see
All the pain that is inside of me

This smile hides what I feel
Because loving you is killing me
And I don't want you to know

This smile hides my secret thoughts
Of death and destruction of my soul
Because this life is not my own

This smile hides the pain inside
Knowing that I am nothing
A woman unworthy of love and affection

This smile hides a thousand tears
Because you don't need to see
That I'd rather not be here at all.
